There appears to be an update to the MBS schedule for item 11714 on July 1, 2026. The relevant part is “and is not provided in association with an attendance item (Part 2 of the schedule)”. Am I correct in assuming that this change essentially means that GPs cannot bill Medicare for obtaining or interpreting an ECG?
