Approximately 35% of the questions we receive have already been answered. So please pause before you submit a question and spend some time searching the site because you may find the answer to your question is already there.

If not, we look forward to receiving your question which we will answer on a first come first served basis.

Please note that we cannot answer questions like “is there an item number for this or that.” Please contact Services Australia with those types of questions or search mbsonline.gov.au.

If there are major changes made to Medicare that everyone needs to know about, we will generate posts about those changes as priority.

Our answers also assume you have some basic knowledge of how Medicare works. If you feel you would benefit from a foundation course on Medicare billing that is legally accurate and amazing, click here to enrol with the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

We promise to answer two questions per week, which will be delivered to paid subscribers by email and posted on this site.

If we can answer more than two questions per week we will, but we cannot promise this. Most of the questions we receive are technically complex and require many hours of work to prepare an answer.
