MBS ANSWERS

Is a purely non-procedural pathway compliant for a T8 fracture/dislocation item that does not specify a particular procedure?

Context

Where a T8 item descriptor uses the word "treatment" without specifying a procedure (e.g. reduction, cast, splint), can treatment be satisfied by clinical assessment, diagnosis and implementation of a non-operative management plan alone? (ie the dislocation spontaneously reduced or reduced prior to referral).

More broadly, for any T8 fracture/dislocation item, is a purely non-procedural pathway compliant?
