I did a telehealth consult on an admitted Bupa ADF patient in another state. The referral came from the Bupa ADF doctor who was with the patient (by his bedside) during my telehealth consult. So I have a referral but I'm not sure if I can bill anything because telehealth under Medicare is only for outpatients. Is it different if it's Bupa ADF? It was a video service that was the equivalent of an item 132 (face to face).
