Can a geriatrician doing a telehealth consult at an RACF be the supervising medical practitioner for the nurse onsite with the patient and bill item 10983?

Context

Our geriatrician is a “medical practitioner” and “a person who is registered under the National Law in the medical profession” so can that doctor, while conducting the telehealth consult, also act as the supervising doctor for the nurse at the facility and bill item 10983? Rather than a GP?
